Enoch Powell once said that 'all political lives end in failure'. Not even that is true any more - failed politicians end up living high on the EU hog. I saw a programme recently that when Kinnock was in charge, Labour were against the EU. So for a paltry few hundred thousand £ of taxpayers' money, he has changed his tune. Bastard.
Labour were Euro skeptics until maggie started swing her handbag and getting bad press. At that point they opprtunistically became EUrophiles.
No doubt as you are aware NuLab is as spilt over the EU as the Tories, its just that they are bigger hypocrites and are preapred to swallow their principles for power.
"prepared to swallow their principles for power"? Er, what principles?
