I'm away for a weekend in Lyme Regis looking for retirement properties with the Great Wiseone. I'm not sure if the hotel has Internet access and even if it does I'm sure I won't be allowed to spend much time.
Just rent the first place that's half way decent and stick your current home on the market for about 10% less than what the average of whatever local estate agents tell you it's worth.
According to today's Metro, 18% of homeowners are thinking of selling-to-rent so it's best to beat the stampede.

We didn't find anything so decided to stay put.
ReplyDeleteRenting is difficult when you have an artist as a wife, they are very messy, but I think you have made a good move.
